David Chamberlin

Born and raised in upstate New York, Mr. Chamberlin joined the firm in 2007. He has six years of experience in executive healthcare and administrative management.

Kristin Denmark

Ms. Denmark joined the firm in August of 2005 and manages the administrative needs of the human resources department. Ms. Denmark received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Denmark also speaks Spanish.

Rhonda Gentry

Ms. Gentry was the Director of Accounting for the firm before becoming the Executive Assistant to the COO. She has over 15 years accounting experience, and was responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the firm. Ms. Gentry has been with the firm since January 2005.

Terri Harris

Ms. Harris has more than thirteen years of human resources experience in a variety of environments including research, higher education, health insurance and staffing.

A native of Florida, Ms. Harris received a bachelors degree from Florida State University.

Ms. Harris resides in Bahama with her husband and has two daughters. She enjoys exercising, gardening, fiction, and hiking with her family and Labrador retrievers.

Nancy Blanton

Mrs. Blanton has been with the Firm since the spring of 2002. She had over nine years of experience with the North Carolina Industrial Commission before joining the worker’s compensation team. Presently she assists the lawyers of our workers’ compensation team in preparing cases for mediation, litigation, and settlement.

Shannon Chapman

Ms. Chapman joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in June of 2002. She brings with her over 15 years of customer service experience. Ms. Chapman started as a receptionist with our Firm and has since worn many hats, including coordinating client settlement disbursals and managing mass tort claims. Ms. Chapman now provides exceptional assistance to internal clients by keeping our office running smoothly and efficiently. In addition to spending time with her three children, Ms. Chapman also enjoys reading, watching movies, camping, and most outdoor sports.

Shirley Credle

Ms. Credle is a native of Raleigh and currently lives in Garner with her husband of eleven years and her three children. She has worked in the customer service industry for over seventeen years with her main focus being on employee relations and payroll. Ms. Credle enjoys reading, watching TV and being a soccer mom.

Cereza Duarte

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Ms. Duarte moved to North Carolina about ten years before joining our firm in the fall of 2007. She speaks Spanish and enjoys working with the Hispanic Community.

Heather Hale

Ms. Hale is from Greenville, NC and has over three years of personal injury experience including negotiating, reviewing files and assisting with managing a law office. Ms. Hale received her Paralegal Technology degree from Pitt Community College.

In her spare time Heather enjoys working out, shopping, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Andy Mosley

Mr. Mosley joined our firm in the fall of 2007 and works as a Runner out of the Durham office. Mr. Mosley has a B.A. in Philosophy and Religion. He spent several years touring the nation extensively as a professional musician.

Maylon Rowland

Born in Washington, D.C., Mr. Rowland moved to North Carolina at the age of 13. He is a single father of a 13-year-old son, Maylon, Jr., known as MJ. Mr. Rowland works as an administrator in accounting and loves football, fishing and staying stress-free!

Angela Sanchez

Ms. Sanchez joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2001.  She has several years of experience, with multiple law firms, as a real estate paralegal.  In that capacity, Ms. Sanchez was responsible for the preparation of closing statements and maintaining the trust account.  Her responsibilities in the firm have included the day-to-day management of the firm’s trust account and finances.  She presently serves as a settlement administrator where she assists attorneys in the review of liens and medical documentation in the preparation of a client’s file for settlement, as well as assisting in the resolution of issues involving Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, and other issues related to settlement.

Christine Scott

Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Scott worked for over sixteen years as an administrative assistant for a large retail grocery chain.

Ms. Scott moved to North Carolina from Phoenix, Arizona in 2006 and loves living here. She is married and has two daughters. Ms. Scott most enjoys spending time with her family, preferably outside, getting acquainted with nature and attempting to teach her children the fine art of relaxation.

John Steward

John joined our team in 2007 and brought with him several years of experience. John has worked as a State of Connecticut Airport Fire Captain, Grants Planner for the Eastern Connecticut Area Agency on Aging, and in Materials Management for General Dynamics. Originally from Connecticut John moved to the Raleigh-Durham area in 2005 with his wife of 30 years. John has a 2 children one who attends the University of Miami and the other who works as a computer programmer in Newport, RI.

Mark Straniero

Mr. Straniero recently relocated from Kalamazoo, Michigan after living there for over twenty years. Mr. Straniero is a 1994 Graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Accounting. He has a diverse business background that ranges from Fine Dining to the Action Sports Industry.
