Two people were injured, including a 4 year old girl, were injured in a one car accident in Guilford County, North Carolina on April 18 at 7:11 a.m. The accident occurred in Greensboro when a 2001 Mitsubishi was traveling north on North Church Street toward Cone Boulevard, merged into the right lane, lost control, traveled over the sidewalk and collided head-on with a tree. The impact caused the car’s headlight assembly to fly off and travel several feet before striking the right rear bumper of a 1999 Ford what was parked in an apartment complex’s parking lot. Both the driver and her young passenger were transported by Guilford County EMS to Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Damage to the Mitsubishi was estimated at $10,000; damage to the Ford, $200.
