A 25 year old motorcyclist from Raleigh was injured in a sole motorcycle accident in Wake County, North Carolina on April 18 at 1:54 p.m. The accident occurred in Raleigh. when a 2006 Honda motorcycle was traveling south on Green Castle Court toward New Hope Church Road. The rider lost control of the motorcycle, overturned and slid into a utility pole and box. The motorcycle rider was clearly injured. He was transported by Wake County EMS 5 to Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh. The motorcycle driver was cited for careless and reckless driving, and no motorcycle endorsement. Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $2,000.
