Brake Failure Causes I-80 Tractor-Trailer CrashPosted by: Attorney Michael Jordan Tagged in: Personal Injury News

A tractor-trailer’s brakes failed on I-80, causing a five-truck accident that injured three of the drivers and killed some of the market pigs being hauled in one of the trucks.
The accident started when the brakes malfunctioned on the tractor-trailer hauling the pigs, initiating a chain-reaction collision that resulted in one truck overturning and another being forced off the road and into the woods.
The driver of the pig truck was uninjured, while the others were taken to Pocono Medical Center, one suffering from head and wrist injuries and another from a broken arm.
