A man from Burlington, N.C.. was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center after being struck by a car on the night of Monday, February 2.
The fatal car-pedestrian accident occurred when the man attempted to cross Ross St. in Burlington in a low-light area. According to police, rainy weather conditions appear to be a factor leading to the man being struck by a 1990 Oldsmobile.
