A school bus headed to Wake Forest-Rolesville High School was rear ended on Sept. 15 when an 18-year-old driver lost control of the car.

The accident occurred at the intersection of South Main Street and Selsey Drive in Wake Forest. The driver was rushed to the hospital. A relative said the teen was complaining of chest pains, but it’s not clear if those came before or after the impact.

A 27-year-old woman was airlifted to Carolina Medical Center following a single-car accident on Sept. 10 in Salisbury.

The woman was going north on Bringle Ferry Road when the 2004 Ford F250 she was driving veered to the right. The driver overcompensated causing the Ford to run into a bank on the left side of the road and flip several times, pinning her inside.
