Rocky Mount, NC bicyclist injured in Charlotte, NC car accident

A 24 year old bicyclist from Rocky Mount, NC was injured in a bike, car collision in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on April 19 at 5 p.m. The accident occurred in Charlotte, NC when a 1998 Ford was driving east on University City Boulevard at Broadrick Boulevard, and struck a bicyclist that had crossed in front on the car from Broadrick Boulevard. The bicyclist advised that he was crossing the street and did not see the Ford. The bicyclist was clearly injured, but no medical care was provided onsite.

Stop sign violation blamed for car accident which injures 2 in Raleigh, North Carolina

Two people were injured in a two car accident in Wake County, North Carolina on April 16 at 2:26 a.m. The accident occurred in Raleigh when a 1999 Ford failed to yield at a stop sign while on Dogwood Lane at Wade Avenue, and collided with a 2007 Honda which was traveling through the intersection from Wade Avenue. Both the Ford and the Honda drivers were clearly injured. The Honda driver was taken by Wake EMS to Rex Hospital. The Ford driver was cited for a stop sign violation. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $10,000; damage to the Honda, $11,000.

Statesville, NC woman injured in Greenville, NC car accident

A Statesville, North Carolina woman was injured in a two car accident in Pitt County, North Carolina on April 16 at 4:04 p.m. The accident occurred in Greenville when a 2001 GMC and a 2002 Ford were both was traveling northwest on Arlington Boulevard through the intersection with Stantonsburg Road. The Ford merged into the GMC’s travel lane and the two cars collided. The Ford driver was clearly injured. The Ford driver and her sole passenger were transported by Greenville Fire and Rescue to Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Damage to the GMC was estimated at $800; damage to the Ford, $1,200.
