A 60 year old man from Roxboro was injured in a two pickup truck accident in Durham County, North Carolina on April 25 at 11:55 a.m. The accident occurred near Durham when a 1990 Chevrolet pickup truck exited Interstate-85 (I-85) onto Glen School Road going toward Bundy Road. It failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Glen School Road and Bundy Road and collided with a 2004 Nissan pickup truck which was traveling through the intersection from Glen School Road. The Chevrolet pickup truck driver was transported by Durham County EMS to Duke Hospital for treatment of injuries. He was sited for failure to stop at a duly erected stop sign. Damage to the Chevrolet was estimated at $3,000; damage to the Nissan, $6,000.
