A 63 year old woman from West End, North Carolina was severely injured in a two car accident in Lee County on March 27 at 6:40 a.m. The accident occurred near Sanford when a 1985 Chevrolet was traveling south on US 1 toward Farrell Road and struck a 2000 Ford which was parked in the roadway due to being involved in a previous wreck.
