Four residents of Charlotte, North Carolina were injured in a hit and run accident in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on March 23 at 2 p.m. The accident occurred in Charlotte, North Carolina when a 1998 Dodge was traveling south on Sugar Creek Road and stopped for a red light at the intersection of Sugar Creek Road and Tryon Street. At this point, the Dodge was rear ended by an unknown van which passed the car on the left and fled the scene via Sugar Creek Road. The Dodge driver and her three passengers complained of pains in their legs, back or neck. One of the occupants was transported by Medic 49 to Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Damage to the Dodge was estimated at $2,000.
