Ms. Shapiro joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2006 and currently practices in the Firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department. She received her J.D. from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law of Campbell University. She received her B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University.

Ms. Shapiro brings over 10 years’ experience to her practice and currently represents injured workers who have suffered catastrophic and debilitating work-related injuries.

“I find one of the most important things that I do when talking with potential clients is to listen and ask good questions to get to the meat of their problems,” Ms. Shapiro says. “Our clients want to talk with someone they can understand and who can genuinely understand their situation.”

In addition to being a Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law, Ms. Shapiro is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, as well as an elected member of the Workers’ Compensation Council of the North Carolina Bar Association.
