Mr. Caplan rejoined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2008 and manages the Personal Injury Litigation Team.

Mr. Caplan received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He received his B.S. in Political Science and Social Science from Frostburg State College in Maryland. Mr. Caplan works to utilize the knowledge he has amassed in more than 20 years of legal practice to help his clients navigate the maze of litigation.

“I enjoy helping clients navigate the roadblocks imposed by the law, the insurance industry and the government,” Mr. Caplan says. “The most important part of my job is allowing the client an opportunity to focus on medical healing; I meet people stressed by lack of funds due to sudden injury or debilitating disease, and often these are the most desperate times of their lives.”

Mr. Caplan is a member of multiple State Bars and remains very active with several pro bono activities due to his passion for helping individuals.
