Mr. Pelaez joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2007 and handles cases involving serious injury.
Mr. Pelaez received is J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, where he participated in several Moot Court competitions. He received is B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maryland. Mr. Pelaez has several years experience as a defense attorney and seeks to utilize the knowledge he gained during this time to benefit his clients now.
"Having worked on the defense side of personal injury cases, my knowledge of what is taking place on the other side of the table can be beneficial,” Mr. Pelaez says. “ I take great pride in achieving a successful result of a case for a client whether through extensive negotiation, mediation, litigation, or at trial."
Mr. Pelaez is a member of the American Association for Justice, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and the North Carolina Bar Association. He is admitted to a number of Federal Courts and serves as Co-Chair of the 2010 Annual Disbursements Seminar for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
