Ms. Hanshumaker rejoined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2007 and assists potential clients in a wide array of potential claims.

Ms. Hanshumaker received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She received her B.A. in Political Science Suma Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Ms. Hanshumaker pairs the knowledge she gained as a defense attorney with her zeal to help injury victims.

“So much happens before you go to trial, and there are so many steps along the way where an injured person can unknowingly damage his or her case,” Ms. Hanshumaker says. “I am passionate about letting injured people know what their rights are.”

Ms. Hanshumaker is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and is active in the local community. She is fluent in Spanish and seeks to combine her language ability with her legal knowledge for the benefit of her clients.
