Mr. Cole joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2008 and handles catastrophic injury claims.
Mr. Cole received his J.D. from Wake Forest School of Law. He received his B.A. in History from King College in Bristol, Tennessee. While Mr. Cole’s reputation for quality legal work and outstanding ethics have earned him an AV rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review system and designation as a Rising Star by North Carolina Super Lawyers* in both 2009 and 2010, his primary goal is to leverage his knowledge and experience to benefit victims of catastrophic injury.
"The best part about being a personal injury attorney is knowing when I've been able to help a client; I am honored to use my legal experience to help people stand up to insurance companies that defend the negligence of others,” Mr. Cole says. “Knowing this makes all the late nights and the battles with the defense worth it to me.”
Mr. Cole is a member of the American Association for Justice, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, The North Carolina Bar Association, and the Wake County Bar Association. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Auto Torts Section of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He also is Editor-in-Chief and a contributing author for the North Carolina Manual of Complaints.

| * = To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Rising Stars undergo a rigorous, multiphase process which combines peer nominations with third-party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made annually on a state by state basis. While up to five percent of the lawyers in any state are named “Super Lawyers,” by Super Lawyers magazine, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list. |
