Fatal Wreck Involving Nursing Student Under Investigation

On February 21, 2008 in Greenville, North Carolina, traffic was blocked at Arlington Boulevard and West Fifth Street for about three hours after a 20 year-old nursing student was involved in a fatal car accident.
According to authorities, the female nursing student died when her Chevrolet Cavalier was struck by a Ford Explorer. The two vehicles collided in the intersection and an investigation is ongoing. The woman was a nursing student and activist at Pitt Community College.
