On May 3, 2008, an Isuzu ran a red light on West Trade Street in Charlotte, North Carolina, getting into a car accident with a taxi. A passenger in the taxi was thrown from the vehicle, and was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The car accident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Police have not said if charges will be filed.
