Three people injured in tractor-trailer truck accident in Selma, CA
Tractor-trailer truck driver ran stop sign, hit pickup truck
On June 11, 2008, a man driving a tractor-trailer truck driving north in Selma, California, ran a stop sign, causing a truck accident with a pickup truck. After colliding with the pickup, the tractor-trailer truck hit a power pole, shearing it at the base. Both vehicles caught fire after the truck accident.
The pickup driver suffered major injuries, including burns to his left arm. His passenger sustained moderate injuries. The tractor-trailer truck driver also sustained moderate injuries. All three were transported to area hospitals for treatment of the injuries sustained in the truck accident.
