U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” named Durham-based law firm, the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, among the Tier 1 Best Law Firms for Workers’ Compensation in 2016.
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, a Durham-based law firm with 14 North Carolina locations, 38 attorneys, and 125 professional staff members, received the 2016 U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” Tier 1 ranking (the highest ranking) for Workers’ Compensation – Raleigh.
According to U.S. News – Best Lawyers, achieving a tiered ranking indicates a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise. With nearly 700,000 law firm assessments and more than 47,000 client evaluations, firms are recognized for professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. More specifically, a tiered ranking denotes a high level of respect among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and practice areas for their abilities, professionalism, and integrity.
Corporate Counsel Magazine has referred to the Best Lawyers list as "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin received the award for the Greater Raleigh Metropolitan area, which extends east to Goldsboro, south to Fayetteville and Pinehurst, north toward the Virginia border at Oxford and Henderson, and east to Chapel Hill and surrounding areas.
“It’s an honor to be considered, let alone nominated to this client and peer reviewed list,” said James S. Farrin, firm founder and president. “This award is every bit a firm-wide collaboration among an exceptional group of people – people who care about each other, their communities, and who are passionate about trying to make sure the voiceless among us are heard and treated fairly. We strive to make that happen day in and day out.”
The U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys in their field, and additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process.
