Attorney Adam Foggia
Mr. Foggia joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2014 and handles personal injury cases for our clients.
Prior to receiving his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, Mr. Foggia attended Elon University, where he graduated magna cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy and was inducted into multiple honor societies.
While in law school, Mr. Foggia began his legal career by working for Lawyer’s Mutual Insurance Company, at which time he aided in the development of manuscripts, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses, and other resources that were designed to help many of North Carolina’s lawyers improve their knowledge of areas such as ethics, malpractice, substance abuse, and work-life balance.
Since that time, Mr. Foggia has focused his career exclusively on plaintiffs’ law and has been exposed to a wide range of cases in areas such as personal injury, product liability, social security disability, and workers’ compensation claims.
As an attorney, Mr. Foggia prides himself on providing zealous representation to the injured victims of our community:
“Based on the way my mind works, a legal career was always the natural and obvious course for my life, and it was my sense of compassion and justice that led me to work in plaintiffs’ law.
Insurance companies often have what can seem like limitless resources, which they may use to try to devalue claims - even those of wrongfully injured parties. My goal is to be a part of the team that defends the rights of those victims, tries to ensure that they are fairly compensated, and tries to help bring them to a point where they can begin putting the pieces of their lives back together.”
Mr. Foggia has worked hard to resolve hundreds of personal injury claims, including those of minor children - a level of experience that resulted in his invitation to be among the speakers at the annual disbursements seminar held for plaintiffs’ lawyers by North Carolina Advocates for Justice in 2013.
Mr. Foggia is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
