The head of our is a Social Security Department North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Social Security Disability Law who is fluent in both English and Spanish. Several members of the team, including a second attorney, have previous experience as examiners at Disability Determination Services (DDS). As such, they determined the merits of initial applications for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).

Fayetteville, North Carolina — Fayetteville, NC is the state's sixth-largest city with a population of about 181,000. The U.S. Army's Ft. Pembroke, North Carolina — This small town of about 3,000 residents is home to both the Lumbee Tribe and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The school opened in 1887 as a two-year school to train American Indians as public school teachers. It became a four-year college in 1939, and remained the nation's only state-supported four-year college for American Indians until 1953, when it began admitting other ethnic groups. The university currently has an enrollment of about 6,700 students. Its 15:1 student-faculty ratio and average class size of 30 students gave rise to its slogan "where learning gets personal." Pembroke is located in Robeson County about 45 miles from Fayetteville.

Pinehurst, North Carolina — To many people, this village of about 12,000 residents is synonymous with golf. The historic Pinehurst Resort, one of the largest golf resorts in the world, includes eight 18-hole golf courses designed by such golf pros as Donald Ross, Bobby Jones, Tom Fazio and Dan Maples. The resort was the venue of the 1937 PGA Championship, the 1951 Ryder Cup, the 1999 and 2005 U.S. Open Golf Championships and the 2007 Woman's U.S. Open Golf Tournament. It has been selected as the home of the 2014 U.S. Open as well. The Village of Pinehurst is located in Moore County about 50 miles from Fayetteville.

Southern Pines, North Carolina — Bordering the Village of Pinehurst, this town of about 12,450 is also known for its golf heritage. Forty-three of the best golf courses in the state are located within 15 miles of Southern Pines, NC. But there is more to Southern Pines, NC than golfing. The town is also the home to the 900-acre Weymouth Woods/Sandhills Nature Preserve, where people can learn about rare and endangered species such as the red-cockaded woodpecker, the pine barrens tree frog and the bog spicebush. Residents and visitors can also enjoy the Carolina Horse Park at Five Points, which consists of hundreds of acres of land dedicated to world-class equestrian competition, including the annual Stoneybrook Steeplechase. A restored downtown and extensive pottery trail round out the town's diverse offerings. Southern Pines is located in Moore County about 47 miles from Fayetteville.
