After 62-year-old Eileen Ramey was injured in a severe car accident, she was hesitant to call a lawyer. She was “leery” about talking to attorneys because of the many stories she heard over the years.

But when her insurance company deemed her pain to be from a “pre-existing condition,” Ms. Ramey had little choice but to look for legal representation.

Ms. Ramey spoke with another attorney first, but on the recommendation of a friend, she called the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin. After a review of her case, attorney Ken Gondek sat down with Ms. Ramey to discuss her options. From the first meeting on, Ms. Ramey and Mr. Gondek developed a good working relationship.

“He kept me very informed,” Ms. Ramey said. “When I would call him, I could always reach him…Ken was my teammate, and I could talk to him about anything.”

And when Ms. Ramey’s case went to trial, she said she felt very comfortable with Mr. Gondek and the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin.

“I was sure of Ken. He had my complete confidence,” she said. “I knew I had a legitimate case because I was in pain. Ken told me just to be myself, and so I was. I just told the truth, and everything worked out fine.”

“I know if I had any other situation to arise or I got in another accident, I would feel very comfortable coming back to the firm,” she said.

And as it turns out, Ms. Ramey isn’t as turned off by attorneys as she was when she first got in her car accident.

“Even if [an attorney] might not win a case, or if they feel that it’s useless and don’t see any hope, I advise anyone to go and see an attorney,” Ms. Ramey said. “Get a free consultation or call somebody on the telephone, preferably here [at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin].”
