How A Workers’ Compensation Attorney Can Help Your Case

When an employee sustains an on-the-job injury or illness, getting better is only the first of his or her many concerns:

  • Who will pay the bills while you aren't working?
  • Will you still have the same job if and when you return to work?
  • How do you deal with the North Carolina workers' compensation system?

There is no way to plan your response to the stresses a job injury may place on your family. A workers' compensation attorney has seen and heard about many such cases. Workers' compensation insurance companies, however, can and do plan their response to your work-related injury long before it occurs. Your work-related injury or illness will be a business decision to the insurance company. They may have little or no incentive to see that your rights to fair and reasonable compensation are considered.

Do You Need a Workers' Compensation Attorney?

Our workers' compensation lawyers include a former Special Deputy Commissioner and a former Deputy Commissioner of the North Carolina Industrial Commission, former insurance defense attorneys with experience at major North Carolina defense law firms, and a workers' compensation lawyer who is also experienced with the interaction of Social Security and workers' compensation laws in cases of serious work-related injuries and industrial illnesses.

We may be able to see that you are justly compensated for your work injury or illness. Our workers' compensation team places great importance on helping you understand your rights, get answers to your questions, and learn how best to proceed with your claim. Call the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin at 1-800-220-7321 or contact us right now and find out if we can help you today.
