Attorney Jason Chestnut
Advocating for others is a given
Jason Chestnut joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2017 handling personal injury cases.
He earned his J.D. from the Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, and a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During his time in law school, he won a Constitutional Law I Book Award merit scholarship.
Jason decided early on that he wanted to do something that involved helping to better the circumstances and lives of others.
“I was born and raised in a small town in southeastern North Carolina where close relationships are valued, and selflessly dedicating yourself to the betterment of others is a given. Practicing personal injury law and advocating for individuals who have been injured has allowed me to continue to be an advocate for others wherever I go by helping others to seek justice.”
During law school, Jason interned at the North Carolina Supreme Court, where he researched and briefed current appellate issues in state law. He also participated in the Senior Law Clinic at Campbell Law School where he provided pro bono legal services to clients who were otherwise denied access to justice simply because they could not afford it. Through these experiences, Jason discovered a passion for using his legal training to provide positive and meaningful resolve to others at times when they need it the most.
