Mr. Farrin founded the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, and serves as its President.

Mr. Farrin received his J.D., with honors, from Duke University School of Law. He received his B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, in Philosophy from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. While Mr. Farrin’s legal work has earned him membership into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum*, Mr. Farrin’s passion is using business principles to try to provide the highest quality legal services possible for the firm’s clients.

“Our greatest satisfaction comes from making a difference in the lives of our clients,” Mr. Farrin says. “Doing quality legal work is essential, but I truly believe that running an organized, quality organization allows us to fulfill our mission by serving clients better.”

Mr. Farrin is a member of the American Association for Justice’s Leaders Forum, the President’s Club of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and The North Carolina Bar Association. Mr. Farrin serves on the Advisory Board for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)’s North Carolina chapter, which the firm proudly supports. Mr. Farrin also contributes to and serves on the Lawyer’s Image and Marketing Committee for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
