The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin seeks an Administrative Assistant for our Litigation department. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. Prior NC Personal Injury experience is a plus, but not required.

Administrative Case Manager

The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Personal Injury Department. Job duties will involve administrative and clerical work, speaking with and following up with third parties via telephone, and other general office duties. Knowledge of medical records and bills is a plus. Previous law firm or personal injury experience preferred but not required.

Mail Clerk / Operations Assistant

The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin seeks a Mail Clerk / Operations Assistant for our Operations Department. The ideal candidate must be a team player with good communication and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties as necessary. Computer and "handy man" skills a plus.

Webmaster / Web Designer

The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin is seeking a Webmaster/Web Designer for our Downtown Durham headquarters.

About the Position:

The Webmaster/Web designer will perform duties under the direction and general supervision of the director of marketing, but works independently to develop and manage the company's online presence. The webmaster will be responsible for the development, planning, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvements to the company's family of websites.

To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for problem solving, a proven ability to work as part of a team, and strong experience developing high-quality, well-performing, maintainable websites.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and manage company's websites
  • Develop and run website testing to improve conversion
  • Website SEO optimization
  • Manage company's intranet
  • Serves as a liaison with vendors

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field and three or more years of experience designing, building, and maintaining business websites or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Web standards based HTML
  • CSS
  • Photoshop
  • XML
  • MySQL
  • PHP
  • LAMP
  • HTML5
