As Vice President of Marketing at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, David Chamberlin oversees many of the firm’s business operations including Marketing, Operations, and Intake.
While David’s responsibilities vary among departments, his overarching objective is to ensure that the law firm provides an exceptional quality-driven client experience, and that the firm accurately and effectively communicates this message to consumers.
To that end, David establishes both short- and long-range strategic plans, initiatives, and budgets to enhance the firm’s marketing and generate consistent business. He is the driving force behind Farrin’s extensive and widely-recognized network of TV, Internet, and print channels, as well as client relations and management initiatives.
David has been largely responsible for examining the firm’s market data analyses, spotting trends, and making tactical marketing decisions to try to maintain competitiveness. Under David’s tenure, the firm’s marketing and advertising strategies have helped propel the firm into one of the largest plaintiffs firms in the Southeast.

To that end, David is routinely involved in and responsible for efforts to:
- Assess and correct operational inefficiencies firm-wide
- Create new systems and processes
- Correct and improve existing systems
- Expose and eliminate system delays
James Scott Farrin maintains a consulting relationship with other law firms, and David is one of their liaisons. As a trusted advisor, he strategically guides these firms as they endeavor to increase their client base through enhanced marketing and growth strategies – helping grow one firm’s client base over 40% in just four years.
David joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2007 as Director of Administration and Human Resources. Within two years James S. Farrin, having recognized David’s keen ability to analyze data and recognize key trends, asked him to run the firm’s marketing department as Director of Marketing – a primary driving force behind the firm’s growth.
He oversees many of the firm’s operational initiatives which have streamlined workflow processes and procedures and helped to enhance profitability. He launched new TV campaigns in all of the firm’s markets, improved monitoring of marketing initiatives, and made enhancements to the firm’s practice area operations.
David received his B.S. in Health Administration from Ithaca College in his hometown of Ithaca, N.Y., and an MBA from Regis University in Denver, Co. Prior to his work at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, David served as an Executive Director at Capital Senior Living, where he oversaw all aspects of a $25 million property.
