Attorney Emily Fertig
Emily Fertig joined the Personal Injury Department at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2019. She is licensed in both Mississippi and North Carolina.
Emily was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated with a degree in Sociology from UC Berkeley. Emily was naturally drawn to law as a means of effecting change for others. She studied law and received her J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law.
As fate would have it, her first position out of law school was with a Personal Injury firm:Â âI knew I wanted to help people. Starting out in the field of personal injury was the best thing that happened to me. It felt instantly right. I knew that personal injury was where I belonged in the legal profession.â
Emily approaches clients with her trademark empathy, welcoming walk-ins and taking the time to understand what each client is going through. Some clients do not know where to start, such as one client who had three different insurance companies arguing over the same accident. Emily took the case by the horns and helped that client achieve a result that made him happy.1
