James Scott Farrin Attorney Daniel Bello Elected to Board of Directors for Hispanic/Latino Legal Issues Committee

April 18th, 2024: Daniel Bello, bilingual personal injury attorney at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, has been elected Secretary of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) Hispanic/Latino Legal Issues Division. As Secretary, Daniel will help the NCAJ increase access to justice for Spanish-speaking people. Bello was also recently selected for NCAJ’s 13-member NEXT Leadership Program, class of 2024, which helps “to better prepare tomorrow’s trial lawyer leaders today.” Read more.

Attorney Eric Haase on WCNC: Rushing the Court Can End Up in Court

April 5th, 2024: This one is for you, basketball fans: If you storm the court after your team wins a game, you can be held civilly liable for injuries you cause to players. James Scott Farrin attorney and Partner Eric Haase explained it to WCNC in a recent "Verify" segment. Attorney Stan Abrams Featured in “New Bern Sun Journal” for Leading Free Eminent Domain Seminar on US 70 Improvement Project

March 20th, 2024: James Scott Farrin attorney Stan Abrams, head of the NC Eminent Domain Law Firm (powered by James Scott Farrin), was recently featured in an article by the “New Bern Sun Journal” about a free seminar he led for property owners facing impacts to their land due to the US 70 Improvement Project. Abrams says that the North Carolina Department of Transportation has a legal right to take the property for highway construction, but that affected property owners also have a right to just compensation.
