In the article, Ricks explains the different kinds of Social Security benefits, what it takes to qualify, and how much applicants may be entitled to. June 13th, 2023: James Scott Farrin Attorney Tom Wilmoth spoke out against the “legal loophole” known as the ‘Texas Two-Step’ in a recent article from “South Carolina Lawyers Weekly.” This loophole (named after the line dance) refers to when two companies merge into one or one company divides in two in order to escape liability for claims, such as those arising from asbestos and talc exposure.
