James Scott Farrin, 2 Other Firms Request Jury Trial for Fatal CMPD Pursuit Crash

January 26th, 2024: A pair of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers engaged in a dangerous rush-hour pursuit of a vehicle even after dispatch called them off. As a result of the continued pursuit, the fleeing vehicle eventually crashed head-on with a car carrying three people. Two were badly injured. Another died. James Scott Farrin, along with two other firms representing the innocent victims, has requested a jury trial seeking justice for a tragedy that should never have happened. Read more here.

January 24th, 2024: There is controversy over a prominent religious leader with severe arthritis who was asked to leave a local movie theater for bringing his own chair. The bishop wanted to use his stool in the section for people with disabilities, but the theater told him to leave and police were even called.
